1. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with EU consumer protection law, customers have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 calendar days from the day the goods are received. To exercise this right, the customer must notify Amavela by email within the 14-day period.
2. Conditions for returns
Returned items must meet all of the following conditions:
- Unused and undamaged
- No signs of burning, melting, washing or wear
- Returned in original condition and packaging
- Suitable for resale
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused or partially refunded.
3. Handmade products and natural variations
Amavela products are handcrafted. Natural variations in colour, texture, finish, shape or size are inherent to handmade production and are not considered defects.
4. Exclusions from the right of return
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Used or burned candles
- Decorative items showing signs of use or damage
- Products damaged due to improper handling or misuse
- Products damaged after delivery for reasons not attributable to transport
- Incomplete returns or missing packaging
5. Damaged or defective items
If a product arrives damaged or defective due to transport, the customer must notify Amavela within 48 hours of delivery. The notification must include a description of the issue and clear photographs of the product and packaging.
6. Return procedure
To initiate a return, customers must contact [email protected] and wait for return instructions. Returns sent without prior notification may not be accepted.

7. Return shipping costs
Unless the return is due to a proven defect or damage during transport, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Amavela is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
8. Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected, Amavela will notify the customer of approval or rejection. Approved refunds are issued within 14 days after receipt and inspection. Refunds are made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
9. Partial refunds
Partial refunds may be granted for items returned in a condition different from original or showing signs of handling beyond normal inspection.
