Amavela is a small Porto-based atelier creating sculptural candle objects inspired by Portuguese craft, intimacy and the rhythm of the Atlantic. Each piece is poured and finished by hand in small batches.
We believe a candle is not a product but an object — something held, lit and lived with. Our editions are seasonal, intentional and made to last beyond their flame.
It begins with soy wax and a slow, careful pour. We make our candles by hand in small batches in our Porto workshop — small enough that we can look after every detail that matters: a clean pour, an even burn, the right weight in your hand.
Each one is made to be given. We design the candle and its packaging as a single, easy gesture — tactile, understated, ready to offer — so it feels personal the moment it's opened.
